| Morton's The Steakhouse in the Denver Tech Center invites you to join Denver Broncos defensive backs John Lynch, Champ Bailey, Domonique Foxworth and their teammates for an exceptional evening of fine wine and great food benefiting the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club, home to the new Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center. The event will also provide an opportunity for everyone to remember and celebrate “D-Will.”
This indoor-outdoor event is open to the public and will be held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Morton’s The Steakhouse in the Denver Tech Center, 8480 East Belleview Avenue in Englewood. A VIP reception will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., and the event opens to all ticketholders at 7:00 p.m.
On May 29, 2008, the Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center opened at the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club located at 4397 Crown Boulevard in Denver's Montbello neighborhood. The center provides a gathering place for youths ages 13–18 allowing them to socialize, play video games, work on homework, plan and implement service projects, and avoid unsafe activities and influences.
Guests of the Morton’s event will enjoy a fine selection of vintage wines from some of the world’s most prestigious wineries including Opus One, Jordan, Taittinger, Perrier Jouet, Penfolds, Ruffino, Honig and more. A lavish Finlandia Vodka martini bar will also be featured. Republic National Distributing Company will provide all the wines for the evening.
A strolling dinner buffet will be served including such Morton’s favorites as bluepoint oysters, Shrimp Alexander, sliced filet mignon, Chicken Christopher, and poached chilled salmon.
KCNC-TV sports anchor Vic Lombardi will kick off a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind items. All of the proceeds from the live and silent auctions will benefit the Denver Broncos’ Boys & Girls Club and the Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center.
